After sending my two oldest children off to university, I decided it was time for me to pursue my passion. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Painting and Printmaking at San Diego State University in December, 2018.  I love everything about books and printing...the ink, the paper, the fantastic feeling I get when I lift a print from the press and it's even better than I'd hoped.

 

As an artist, a mother, and a person who inhabits the planet, my greatest concern is how we relate to one another. There are so many things that are similar between two people, if only they have the respect and patience - both when speaking and when listening - to discover those common threads. The qualities that make us different, if approached with the same respect and patience, have the potential to enhance our existence through new ideas and approaches to global issues. These are the themes that I am attempting to address through my artwork.
